The Parapsychological Association is pleased to announce the awardee of this year's Robert L. Morris Student Travel Fund grant, Jacob W. Glazier.

Jacob W. Glazier, M.S. Ed., NCC, is a Ph.D. student pursuing a degree in Psychology in Consciousness and Society at the University of West Georgia, USA. He has his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and practices therapy at the Center for Counseling and Career Development at the University of West Georgia. Jake is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant and current archivist for the William G. Roll special collection at Ingram Library.

At the 56th Annual Convention of the Parapsychological Association in Viterbo, Italy, Jake will be presenting a research brief, in collaboration with the Rhine Research Center, that applies the descriptive phenomenological method to the experiences of mind-matter (PK) interactions. Jake will also be introducing a new journal during the poster symposium of which he is a co-editor and founder called the Journal of Exceptional Experiences and Psychology (JEEP).

The PA established the  Robert L. Morris Student Travel Fund  in 2005 after receiving a generous donation from Joanna Morris in a memorial of her late husband, who held the Koestler Chair of Parapsychology from 1985 to 2004. The PA Board of Directors considered how best to use this donation and believed that Bob Morris would have most liked for the funds to be used to encourage student participation in the PA.

Your continued support will extend the life of this fund.  If you would like to make a contribution, please visit our Support Page and note the "Student Travel Fund" when sending your donation.
