There is more to human beings and our environment than what mainstream scientific opinion allows for. The survival of parapsychology as a science depends on the next generation of scientific explorers to advance the field and bring parapsychology back into the mainstream population's consciousness .
I have been "researching" or reading about parapsychology my entire life.
I am currently mid-way through the process of developing a cell phone and tablet app, which will consist of a series of tests disguised as games. The profits generated from this app will help support the work of the Rhine Research Center.
I consider myself a generalist in the field. I have no specific primary interest, but I hope to become primarily known for field investigation. However I have no objection to laboratory work as well.
One of the most important things to helping the field of parapsychology flourish once again is to bring the experiments, the tests, the research and the evidence to the attention of the general population of the world. We spend so much time trying to convince a materialistic and dogmatic scientific mainstream that the field of parapsychology and the evidence in support of psi is legitimate, that we have no time left to give to the general populous. In my opinion, with the support of average everyday people, the legitimacy in the eyes of mainstream science will come. The dogmatic scientific mainstream will eventually be left with no choice but to succumb to the outcry from laypeople for more funding and research into the field of parapsychology.
It's time for mainstream science to acknowledge the overwhelming laboratory and subjective evidence in favor of the existence of psychic phenomena. My ultimate goal is to add to the already existing evidence and maybe bring some validation for those who have been ridiculed for having these experiences, as well as bringing parapsychology back into the scientific mainstream.
I don't have lofty goals do I?
