A lot is going on in my world at the moment. Mind-Matter Interaction: Historical Reports, Research and Theory(my newest book) should become available in Kindle format at the end of this month, withHandbook to the Afterlife being released in early July as virtually every ebook format except for iPad. I may have to buy a Kindle just so I can create notes about my books to share!
On other fronts, some of you know I just got back from shooting an episode of Paranormal Challenge - a new show for the Travel Channel hosted by Zak Bagans that begins airing in mid-June. I was really impressed by the show. The logistics alone are staggering, given the way they simultaneously film from multiple angles two competing teams as they go about a haunting investigation. I not only took part as a guest judge, but also was able to watch an edited show that is already in the can. And, I have to say that I was really impressed. The focus of the show is on education - how to help paranormal enthusiasts use equipment correctly and improve at doing haunting investigations. So, if any of you get approached for serving as a guest judge, I encourage you to consider it. I had a great time, and it's a chance to make a difference and help get our knowledge out there (if only as sound bites) and educate the public.

I just got my copies of Mind-Matter Interaction: Historical Reports, Research & Theory in the mail today. It's always exciting to hold a new book in your hand! Those who are owed copies should soon have them. A big thank you to everyone who has patiently waited.

I've heard from McFarland that at long last the book has returned from the printer. It's being checked over and, if all is good, it should soon be on the market and in the mail to those who pre-ordered their copies. Whew!
It's been a three-year ordeal to get this book done. McFarland got the manuscript in October 2009 (so my apologies to anyone who didn't have their work included - some nice studies came out after that). Since then, we've been going back and forth trying to correct typos, formatting, and other issues. The index alone took about four months. However, I hope the end result will be worth it.
