About Me
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Defence Studies with the Royal Military College of Canada, but physically located at the Canadian Forces College (Canada's Staff and War College) in Toronto. I have a Ph.D. in sociology from York University.
I am particularly interested in the social dimension of psi effects, and how the concept psi could be used in sociological research. I focussed my research mostly on the UFO phenomenon, as it is an anomaly more amenable to sociological analysis. My latest publications in parapsychology are:
Ouellet, Eric (2015). Illuminations: The UFO Experience as a Parapsychological Event. Anomalist Books.
I also maintain a blog where I explore informally various ideas about psi and social dynamics at: http://parasociology.blogspot.com
