About Me

I am a psychologist and psychoanalyst, with a clinical practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  I have published in both psychoanalytic and parapsychological journals (JASPR and Parapsychology Review), and will have a forthcoming book on parapsychology, psychoanalysis, culture and literature to be published by McFarland.  My background includes:  Yale Law (J.D., 1968), CUNY (Ph.D. Psychology, (1983). I worked as a legal services attorney on the Navajo and Hopi reservation for Dinebeinna Nahilnabe Agaditahe (attorneys who work for the economic revitalization of the Navajo people) in 1968-1970 and represented Native Americans in Denver subsequently and I also worked for Martin Luther King's Southern Christian Leadership Conference as a civil rights worker, summer of 1965.   I am prsently Fellow, Training and Supervising Analyst and Former President, Instittue for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR): Fellow, International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA), Member, American Psychoanalytic Association, (APsaA); Former President, New Jersey Psychoanalytic Association; Member, American Psychological Assocation, Division 39 (Psychoanalysis).   I was Executive Producer of the video Black Psychoanalysts Speak and Co-Executive Producer of the video Psychoanalysis in El Barrio available through Psychoanalytic
Electronic Publishing (PEP).   My first analyst was Jule Eisenbud, MD., and it is his work that I particularly incorporate in my articles and forthcoming book.
